New Orleans native, she brings forth a unique sound and look that is needed in the hip hop community. Sol's delivery is smooth and powerful. It gives the listener "the rollercoaster effect", her lyrical prowess leaves you waiting for the next bar, or stanza. She is currently campaigning for a competition sponsored by Karmaloop's Clothing line Klothing Liberation Project with her design "Lauryn Hill Tribute". In the video above is the official video for New Renaissance, including Ryan Lee, Cypha, Sol, and Kash Akbar. Sol also designed and hand painted the snapback she is wearing in the video.
