The Freshmen - Surf's Up
I came across The Freshmen while surfing through Djbooth.net's Independent list. They are just one among many indie treasures my ears have gotten the pleasure to uncover. The Freshmen consists of California bred Kristo, A Wolf, & THX. The trio infuse the elements of 60's pop rock, hip hop, and broad genre's of music to create their own California sun-kissed sound. Within the group, each member has their own role and contribution. Kristo & A Wolf provide the lyrical content while THX composes the melodies of yester-years and music of tomorrow.
