India Hill
This past spring, India Hill of Columbia, South Carolina, stood alongside me to receive her Bachelors of Arts degree in Mass Communications. Although I initially was a Journalism concentration freshmen year, I graduated in Public Relations. There was no denying India was a dedicated, thorough, and passionate journalist. India has always been committed to her ideals, her beliefs, her writing, but has always been open-minded to the discovery of what is new and unique. Like a lady wearing red lipstick, she and her writing is bold and classy.
Forever opinionated and outspoken, India started The Reddlipstick Blog in 2010. Where a mere 140 characters on Twitter, status updates on Facebook were not enough to express her views on life, culture, and entertainment The Reddlipstick Blog manifested itself.
India has published numerous amazing features such as two interviews with recording artist Jhene Aiko, actor and songstress Adrienne Bailon, an astounding article on why Mass Communications plays a vital role in society, interview with Miss SC USA 2013, and much more. It has been three years, and she is giving her brainchild a makeover, and reapplying a new red lip. Possibly MAC's RiRi Woo?
The Reddlipstick Blog was inspired and founded "based off bold femininity" so India has distinguished the direction she wants her content to go, and is ready to reintroduce herself, her wit, and her ideas to the world.
On August 1, 2013 she will be relaunching The Reddlipstick Blog with new features pertaining to culture, entertainment, social awareness, maybe even beauty product giveaways. I love a giveaway. I encourage you to indulge in her new content and old when the blog goes live.
