Sunday Inspiration: Persistence

We have the humane flaw of doubting ourselves, second guessing ourselves, or others in the midst of trials and tribulations. Often times it is at the brink of a catalyst, when something is about to change and we just need to hold out a little bit longer. However when we are overwhelmed with our fears as daily realities, failures and mistakes are a more frequent occurrence than successes and triumphs, how do we maintain hope? That is when you have to ask yourself, would you rather feel worse wallowing in self pity, or desperately hold on to the little light that you may have left. If there is a storm, you don't wallow in darkness, you find and hold on to whatever light you can find.

People at times are not hesitant to abandon hope and faith when life is not what they pictured it. That is when we have to ask ourselves, how many times does it take a photographer to actually capture the perfect image?

There will be times when your will to live may be tried, your persistence tested, & you are doubted by all. Including yourself, but how bad do you want to succeed? Your will to see that picture perfect image should burn brighter than any doubts, any failures, any obstacle that you could come across. The point of failing, the point of losing, the point of falling is discovering how to not make the same mistake twice, and how to make the right choice the next time and then every time after that.

Never Shout Never is an Indie Rock band that was formed in 2007. The song On the Brightside premiered in 2009 and has since garnered millions of views. Telling a story of "you're only as tall as your heart will let you be, and you're only as small as the world will make you seem". So yes, the world is shitty sometimes, it will make you feel minuscule and inadequate, but how you respond to that, come back from that is up to you. How do you see yourself? How do you want to see yourself? Where do you see yourself? That is more important. Hold on to the light of self worth and manifest the image you see of yourself into the kind of person you want to be. Whether or not you always see it, there is always a brightside that can be found, there is always hope, all you have to do is persevere.
